Contex®
conductive net (scrim) is a low-cost material that is used for ESD
mats and as the resistive layer ("space cloth") in a Salisbury
screen configuration in ground penetrating radar. When coated with a
proprietary coating, the Contex scrim can be used for radar camouflage and
other outdoor radar-absorbing products. As is true for many of our other
fabrics, Contex net can also be used for medical skin electrodes.

By
judicious placement of Contex® LR1 Lossy Composite inside a shielded
enclosure, radiated emissions can be reduced dramatically to put your
product in compliance and/or curtail crosstalk. Contex LR1 meets UL 94V1, is moldable to shape
at elevated temperatures, and is available with an adhesive backing.

Rex
radar-absorbing mat is used to reduce multipath reflections occurring
in antenna ranges, particularly those that are outdoors. It is also useful
for reducing radar signatures of military vehicles and ships.

are specially treated carbon blacks that, for a given loading, offer unusually
good shielding and loss properties in addition to ease of processing. Of
particular advantage for loaded static dissipative plastics, elastomers,
and coatings, eeonomers allow much greater control of desired surface resistivities
in the 106 to 108 ohm/sq
range than does carbon black.

Contex® glass fabrics combine the microwave and electrical response
of a semiconductor with the mechanical reinforcing properties of glass.
Laminate composites made with Contex glass lose little, if any, mechanical
properties relative to those of untreated glass, but they gain desirable
microwave and electrical characteristics.
